Mother gives 4-year-old daughter bag of food from Burger King then hears ‘Mom, I don’t want ketchup’

Tiffany Floyd’s routine trip to Burger King turned into a horrifying experience when her four-year-old daughter discovered blood in her kid’s meal. The Western New York mom had stopped at a drive-thru for a quick bite, but the outing took a shocking turn.

After handing her daughter the meal, Floyd heard her say, “Mom, I don’t want ketchup.” When Floyd checked the bag, she found blood smeared on the food. Initially mistaking it for ketchup, she quickly realized the grim truth.

Floyd contacted the Burger King manager, who revealed that an employee had cut their hand before bagging the food. The manager offered a refund, but Floyd was outraged by the lack of concern. She also reported the incident to the local health department, though no significant action was taken.

Burger King temporarily closed the Gettzville location for cleaning and employee retraining. Despite these measures, Floyd remains distressed. Her daughter now refuses to eat and will need monthly bloodwork to ensure her safety.

Floyd shared her story on TikTok, where it has garnered over six million views. She hopes her experience will remind others to inspect their food before eating. “I just want people to check their food,” she said.
