Melania Trump sparks body double conspiracy AGAIN at inauguration thanks to outlandish fashion

Melania Trump appeared to make a fashion statement with her outfit choice on Inauguration Day, but some think it was intentional.

The returning First Lady donned a wide-brimmed, dark-colored hat and a matching dark coat with black leather gloves. Internet users were quick to comment on the look, with some comparing her look to the McDonalds character, ‘the Hamburgler’.

But among the comments poking fun, there was a resurgence of body double conspiracy theories. Many people have believed that Melania left her husband, Donald Trump, years ago and now a body double attends public events with the now president. Others believe that Donald uses a body double after the assassination attempt against him last summer. Both wild conspiracies have never been substantiated.

Theorists both serious and not took to X, formally known as Twitter, to share their theories about Melania’s fashion choices. “That Bolero hat Melania is wearing won’t do much to dispel the rumors that she has a body double #TrumpInauguration2025,” one person wrote.

“Stylish! If it was only really Melania under that hat,” another noted, “Think it was a Secret Service body double. She never had that hat move from the tilted position, so ppl couldn’t see “her”. Earlobes and jawline different.”

A third passionately penned: “THAT IS NOT MELANIA THEY PUT HER IN THE OPPENHEIMER A– HAT BECAUSE SHE LEFT TRUMPS A– AND THEY PUT A BODY DOUBLE IN HER PLACE BUT IT DOESNT RLLY LOOK LIKE HER SO THEY PUT HER IN THE OPPENHEIMER A– HAT SO THE MEDIA CANNOT TELL.”

“I’m not even sure if that was Melania there may be a body double because you couldn’t see her eyes because of that hat,” a fourth added. Another said: “I swear I’m not a tinfoil hat wearing, body-double believing conspiracy theorist… … but that obviously isn’t Melania, right?”

Others online defended the First Lady. “It’s Melania. You can tell by the color of her gorgeous eyes. Also, by the fact that IT’S HER AND NOT A BODY DOUBLE. STOOPID,” one defended.
