BREAKING: Authorities Investigate Possible Connection Between Cybertruck Explosion and New Orleans Attack

Sources Link Vehicles in Las Vegas Explosion and New Orleans Attack to Same Rental App
According to multiple sources, both the Tesla Cybertruck involved in the explosion outside President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel and the white pickup truck used in the deadly New Orleans terrorist attack were rented through the same car-sharing app, as reported by ABC News.

Officials have emphasized that the investigations into both incidents remain “fluid.” State and federal authorities are examining whether the Cybertruck explosion, which occurred with significant force near the main entrance of the Trump Hotel, was an act

Sheriff Kevin McMahill of the Las Vegas Police Department also confirmed that investigators are exploring potential connections between the Las Vegas blast and the Wednesday morning attack in New Orleans, which left at least 10 people

The situation in New Orleans remains highly fluid as federal investigators search for multiple suspects who may have planted explosive devices around the city’s historic French Quarter prior to the attack. At least one explosive device was found in the truck used by the deceased suspect, Shamsud Din Jabbar, along with an ISIS flag attached to the vehicle’s bed.

Authorities discovered three additional explosive devices elsewhere in the French Quarter, including two pipe bombs concealed inside coolers and rigged for remote detonation.

Vehicle Rental Connection
Sources told NOLA.com that Jabbar, the New Orleans attacker, rented the vehicle involved in the attack through Turo, a peer-to-peer car rental platform. Similarly, the Tesla Cybertruck detonated outside President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel was also rented via Turo.

Clark County officials confirmed that the Cybertruck, rented in Colorado, arrived in Las Vegas around 7:30 a.m. local time, just hours before the explosion.

Federal Response
In a press conference from Camp David, President Biden acknowledged the FBI’s investigation into potential connections between the Las Vegas and New Orleans incidents.

“We’re tracking the explosion of a Cybertruck outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas,” the president said. “Law enforcement and the intelligence community are investigating this, including whether there’s any possible connection with the attack in New Orleans.”

President Biden assured that every available federal, state, and local resource is being utilized to complete the New Orleans investigation and eliminate any ongoing threats to public safety.

The Cybertruck was deliberately loaded with fireworks and other explosives, designed to detonate upward rather than outward, limiting collateral damage to the surrounding area. Seven bystanders sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals.

Developing Story
Both incidents are under intense scrutiny as authorities investigate whether they are connected. Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies are coordinating efforts to determine the motives and potential links between these attacks.

This is an ongoing investigation. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
