A French Boy, 9, Lived Alone for 2 Years, Fed Himself and Kept Good Grades

A young French child lived alone from the ages of 9 to 11 without any adult recognising his precarious circumstances. Upon the boy’s final placement in social services and transition to foster care, his mother was awarded visiting privileges; nevertheless, she has only seen him on two occasions.
